Matanzas goes for more energy savings.

In pursuit of energy carrier savings, many actions are currently underway in the province of Matanzas without affecting basic services such as food, public health, education and electricity, especially in the residential sector.


«It is necessary to systematically monitor what is harvested, its destination, the fulfillment of the agreed deliveries and where the missing crops are routed …», proposed Liván Izquierdo Alonso, first secretary of the Party in the province of Matanzas, argument supported by Tania León Silveira, president of the Government in the territory.

In this meeting, which takes place daily with the presence of executives of companies and mass organizations, it was announced that the products that are destined to celebrate the creation of the CDR are guaranteed on September 27th.

It was also stated that the Commerce sector does not comply with the commercial circulation plan despite the efforts. The quality of the coffee and the distribution of this product by the Wholesale Food Company was also a reason for argument.

The municipalities of Cárdenas and Matanzas continue to fail to comply with the energy saving plan, although the province does comply with it and saved 119.6 megawatts.

Regarding transportation, it was reported that more than 17,000 passengers were collected in different means of transport

.Communals, meanwhile, is inserted into the work of saving without neglecting the sanitation of the city that is carried out with the support of organizations such as AZCUBA and animal traction.

The People’s Council of Pueblo Nuevo is the one that generates more volume   of solid waste.

In this exchange where the progress of the province of Matanzas is debated, taking into account the saving of energy carriers, basic public health services such as blood donations, campaigns against dengue, Zika and surgical processes, among others, are maintained.
