The prestige of the Varied Cultivation Company Vladimir I. Lenin and the process of recuperation in which it is inmersed , were pointed out by Miguel Díaz -Canel, President of Cuba, on his visit to this center in Jovellanos municipality, where he kept on the working schedule in Matanzas province.
Being in this working center, the Cuban president knew that they contributed to the economy with 16 million at the end of 2017.
Osniel Martínez, co-director of the Company talked about the actual process and the productions destined to local self-sufficiency, sending this productions to other provinces and selling them three times a week to hotels in Varadero and Ciénaga de Zapata.
Díaz -CanelHe was also informed about the recuperation of banana plantations, historically it´s main product .The Cuban President advised to take advantage of the potential plantations by an adequate selection of the seeds.

He spoke about the need to work with better modern farm machines and Keep on giving priority to investments.
The chairman of the Lenin Company remaindered the rains of May what caused delayed in the harvest cultivation, this should be reverted with great organization and using the machines in two shifts.
The Cuban President asked about the use of science and technique and the relationship with Matanzas University.
Founded in 1975, Lenin Company is the strongest in potato production, export substitutions of beans and it is making progress in coal production for exportation too.
Men and women of this working place at the end of 2017 earned at about one thousand three hundred ninety-nine pesos.
Give priority to classes
At Matanzas University Camilo Cienfuegos, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of Cuba, insisted on the importance of the presence of professors in every class in each teaching level, of talking to one and each of them and even with retired professors to have them back to schools and Universities.
